Every year, the youth of our church bake thousands of dozens of
cookies in support of the Kairos Prison Ministry. For information

Second Friday Friends - An evening for Mom and Dad while kids 6 months and older enjoy
their friends, crafts, play games and watch a movie! Held every second Friday of the month
during the school year, 2FF begins at 6:00 PM and lasts until 10:00 PM. The cost is $2 per child.
Bring dinner fro them if you like and a blanket and pillow for the little ones.
Dance to the Lord is a dance-style aerobics class to contemporary
Christian music.
Annual Sweetheart Banquet - Take your sweetheart out for Dinner and Dancing on Valentines
Day! All you have to do is buy the card! We offer red roses, a romantic atmosphere, live music,
and photos.
July 4th Celebration - Join us downtown on the front lawn of the church for inflatable toys,
train rides, music, hamburgers, hotdogs, and popcorn! When the sun goes down, set up the
lawnchairs and you've got the best seat in town for Beaumont's annual fireworks show!
Annual Oyster Supper - Held every February for the last forty some odd years, the United
Methodist Men get together to host an All-you-can-eat oyster dinner party! The menu includes
oysters (fried, raw and stewed), French fries, coleslaw, iced tea and coffee. The United
Methodist Women always host a desert table featuring some of the finest cakes, pies, and
cookies around. The church youth group volunteers to serve the seconds, thirds and even
fourth helpings! Over 400 people show up for this event every year!
Hearn Lecture Series - Every October, join us for a lecture series held on Sunday morning,
Sunday evening for a covered dish supper and then again on Monday for the final lecture and
luncheon.
Annual Turkey Dinner - Turkey and Dressing and all the trimmings! Eat it at the church with
your new friends, or take it home and relax! The United Methodist Youth group puts this on with
the help of the United Methodist Women.
Santa's Helpers - Let the kids spend the day at the church playing with their friends on the
playground, watching movies, taking part in adult supervised activities and visiting with Santa
while Mom and Dad take an
