First United Methodist Church, Beaumont and Region 5 Education Service Center (Early Childhood) are co-sponsoring an exciting new opportunity for parent, teachers, and others that are involved in the lives of preschool children.

Once a quarter, in conjuction with FUMC's Parents Night Out (2nd Friday Friends) we will meet
to share a simple meal while receiving quality information on topics of particular interest for this age group: behavior management tips, developmental issues, what to look for when searching for child care and preschool setting, etc...

The first meeting will be Friday, October 13th in the Small Dining Room in Rothwell Hall at the church at 701 Calder, downtown Beaumont. The meal will begin at 6:30, with the program from 7:00 - 8:00. If child care is needed, please contact the church office at (409) 823- 0295 by Wednesday, October 11th. Children ages 2 through 5th grade will enjoy games, crafts, and computer lab, followed by popcorn and a movie. Parents will need to provide a sack lunch for your child, and a pillow or blanket for cuddling up at movie time. Children must be picked up by 10:00. Cost $2.00 per child.
